Experienced Steel Fabricator & Welder

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The role will involve fabrication and welding within the workshop, with some positions also requiring site installation and fitting.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and can work independently or as part of a team.

Key Duties:

  • Fabricate and assemble: Steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components to exact specifications.
  • Interpret technical data: Read and accurately work from engineering and fabrication drawings.
  • Material preparation: Measure, mark out, cut, drill, and grind materials efficiently to minimize waste.
  • Welding: Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding (MMA/Stick experience is highly advantageous).
  • Equipment operation: Safely operate a range of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.
  • Quality control: Conduct thorough inspection checks to ensure all finished work meets drawing tolerances and quality standards.
  • Site & workshop flexibility: Work comfortably across both workshop and on-site environments, including carrying out installation and fitting work when required.
  • Safety & organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment while working efficiently to meet strict project deadlines.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience fabricating with steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently from complex engineering drawings.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to travel and perform installation work on-site as required.
